Bio

ADRIAN ARCEGA is a man of many hats: director, animator, musician, music journalist, and a FAMAS-nominated visual effects specialist. He served as the director of the 2011 update of the long-running children's show "Batibot," which during his stint won the 2012 PMPC Star Awards and KBP Golden Dove Awards for Best Children’s Television Program. He was the co-producer and one of the lead animators of the 2007 Gawad CCP Award-winning animated music video “Dream Systems” for the indie band The Purplechickens; the animated music was groundbreaking for its use of rotoscoping and water-colored animation. His work on El Nido Resorts’ BE G.R.E.E.N. training videos in 2010 won the Pacific Asia Travel Association Gold Award for Environmental Education. In 2016 he was nominated by the Film Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) for Edge Manila’s visual effects work on the big-budget film Felix Manalo. He is currently a co-owner and creative director of Hypertime Creative, which specializes in video production and creative management.

Adrian regularly directs music videos. Among the artists he regularly works with are Ely Buendia, The Dawn, Truefaith, The Itchyworms, and many more.

He is also the frontman, guitarist, and creative director of the band Stereodeal, whose music is distributed by Warner Music Philippines. In line with his deep musical connections, he is currently in the process of post-production for his music documentary series Ground Zero: Chronicles of Pinoy Underground and Indie Rock.
