Ryan Capili (b. 2001, Philippines) is a Filipino writer-filmmaker based in Manila. He is a writer at Sinegang.PH and a graduate from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, with a Bachelor’s Degree of Digital Filmmaking, specializing in Directing, Writing, and Cinematography. He works mostly as a DP/Cinematographer in Film Productions.
His latest work, forms of forgetting (2025) was produced and exhibited at TARZEER Pictures. His short film i was walking on the streets of chinatown (2024) is one of the finalists of Cinemalaya XX in 2024. Ryan’s previous short damgo sa kahitas-an (2022) was selected and won the best film at the Manila Student Film Festival 2023 hosted by International School Manila. His other short film elehiya para sa mga memorya (2023) have also been selected on other festivals such as Cinema Rehiyon 15, UP Cinema's Piling Obrang Vidyo, and 35th Gawad Alternatibo.
