Ron Aldrin Bilon is a filmmaker and fullstack .NET developer based in Quezon City, Philippines. By day, he works in software development; by passion, he pursues filmmaking during his free time.
Ron’s creative journey began early—producing skits, music videos, and class project edits with friends, while also exploring comics and game concepts as outlets for his ideas. Although he started his career in tech, a multimedia role in his church reawakened his love for storytelling and led him into the world of filmmaking.
He has since written and directed several short films, including Virus (2021), an animated short featured in Animahenasyon: Philippine Animation Festival, and For Passion, a collaboration with a UK-based theatre company for the London Festival of Architecture. His works, including a fan-made tribute to the Filipino superhero Pedro Penduko, are available on his YouTube channel.
Ron also co-created Problemado, a Facebook-based action-comedy web series developed with his brother, Neil Russell Bilon, under their team Planet Art Creatives. In addition, he served as Director of Photography and Editor for his church’s short film competition entries, earning a nomination for Best Cinematography and winning Best Editing and Best Film in 2021.
He continues to grow as a visual storyteller—balancing his career in software development with a deep commitment to crafting meaningful, impactful narratives through film.
