Philippine Embassy Assistance Program

About the Program

In partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and DFA Cultural Diplomacy Unit, the FDCP has created the Philippine Embassies Assistance Program (PEAP) to encourage Philippine Embassies and Consulates to organize film-related cultural activities so that overseas Filipinos and nationalities from their respective countries of assignment can discover and appreciate Philippine Cinema.

Spotlight: Philippines

About the Program

Spotlight: Philippines aims to promote Philippine Cinema globally through partnerships with international partners. This program showcases a retrospective or special focus, highlights significant miles by curating films for international venues, and exposes Filipino films to new markets and builds the brand of Philippine Cinema.

Film Development Assistance Program

About the Program

The surge in regional film festivals in the past 10 years has led to a wider access to and more inclusive appreciation of local content. To encourage diversity and develop more narratives across the regions, the Film Festival Development Assistance Program (FDAP) supports regional and special film festivals to be platforms for alternative content and to discover more stories to enhance the community’s film culture.

Film Cultural Exchange Program

About the Program

As a form of bilateral relations and as part of efforts to widen the Filipino audience’s appreciation of world cinema and foreign cultures, the FDCP partners with foreign embassies in the country for the conduct of their film festivals and events through the Film Cultural Exchange Program (FCEP).
