MAYNILA, PILIPINAS, ENERO 7, 2022 — Upang mas mapatibay ang pakikilahok ng mga manggagawang pampelikula o film workers, at malinang at mapahusay ang kasanayan nila sa sa local film at audiovisual industry, ang National Registry (NR) ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ay magdaraos ng mga serye ng libreng acting workshop para sa mga background actor, talent, professional actor, director, at writer na rehistrado sa National Registry. Ang workshop na magsisimula sa Pebrero ay pangungunahan ni Star Magic director at acting coach Rahyan Carlos at kanyang team. 

Ang FDCP NR Acting Workshop Series ay may tatlong-bahagi na ginawa para sa mga nakarehistro sa ilalim ng National Registry for Audiovisual Workers (NRAW) kung saan ang bawat workshop ay nakatuon sa pangangailangan ng isang partikular na grupo. 

Ang unang bahagi ng workshop, itong gaganapin sa susunod na buwan, ay nakatuon sa mga background actor at talent, ang ikalawang bahagi naman ay para sa mga professional actor na naging bahagi na ng kahit isang full-length feature film bilang supporting o lead actor, at ang huling bahagi ay ang acting workshop para sa mga nasa production, partikular na sa mga director, producer, at writer. 

Gaganapin nang online via Zoom ang mga acting workshop simula ngayong Pebrero kasunod ng mga face-to-face workshop bilang paghahanda para sa Showcase Night.

“Last year, the Agency successfully vaccinated more than 5,000 local film workers with the help of the Quezon City and City of Manila Government. Now that film and television shoots are resuming and the industry is becoming competitive, we need to equip our film and audiovisual workers with the skills that they can utilize. Capacity-building workshops such as acting are vital in this industry,” sabi ni FDCP Chairperson at CEO Liza Diño.

Ang pagpaparehistro para sa “Bubog at Karga: An Introductory Acting Workshop on the Chubbuck Technique” para sa mga background actor at talent ay mula Enero 5 hanggang 23. Ang mga magpapadala ng aplikasyon ay dapat na nakarehistro sa FDCP NRAW. NATIONAL REGISTRY ACTING WORKSHOP SERIES Guidelines: 

I. Qualifications / Criteria for Background Actors and Talents

a. Qualifications

1. Must have an on-screen speaking role in a film or TV production 
2. Must have at least two (2) years of experience as a background actor/talent
3. Must be at least 18 years old
4. Must be registered to the National Registry for Audiovisual Workers (NRAW)
5. Must be willing to commit to the entire run of the workshop (Online and On-site

b. Requirements:

1. Profile/ setcard of project engagements in film/ TV
2. Most recent half body and full body pictures
3. Clips/reel of their appearance in film or TV (if available)
4. Accomplished application form
